Our annual Tapestry fundraising event is a night to celebrate Eras' older adult clients, compassionate volunteers, staff, board, donors, and community stakeholders. Together, we weave a tapestry of support that empowers seniors and engages generations across Milwaukee and Waukesha counties.
Thank you to everyone who supported our 2026 event. We look forward to another great event in 2027. Details coming soon!

2026 Award Winners
2026 Recipient, Mark Chwalek
Mark has been a volunteer driver since 2011, providing weekday transportation for older adults across Milwaukee County. Most volunteers concentrate their driving assignments in a specific geographical area. Not Mark, he takes clients who live in many different regions of Milwaukee County. He averages about 100 miles a week driving older adults to appointments, which is more than 5,000 miles per year! Mark says “I really like helping people. I enjoy seeing different types of people with diverse backgrounds and visiting different neighborhoods. They are depending on you getting them to their appointments and back home again safely. And I enjoy doing it.”
2026 Recipient, Debby Geboy
Debby began her volunteer journey with Eras 10 years ago. She started as a Pen Pal and helped with the Readers Café at Banting Elementary School in Waukesha. Over the years, Debby has expanded her volunteer work, now serving as a driver, picking up food at the Food Pantry, and delivering it to clients. She also plays a vital role as a receptionist in our Waukesha office, answering phones and assisting with data entry.
Debby shares that her favorite part of being an Eras Volunteer is connecting with individuals who have a need for assistance and being able to fulfill that need. “After becoming a volunteer, you realize just how many people need some level of assistance that can make their life so much better. Knowing that they can get to their healthcare appointments, that someone cares enough to call them periodically, that someone will bring food to them is how volunteers make a difference in their lives.”
2026 Recipient, Direct Supply
Direct Supply is a valued partner in advancing Eras Senior Network’s mission to support older adults and adults with disabilities. Through financial support, hands‑on volunteering, and meaningful collaboration, Direct Supply strengthens programs ranging from fraud prevention and food access to seasonal yard clean up and holiday giving. Their commitment to connection shines through special experiences such as Senior Fest Day at Summerfest, employee Lunch and Learns, and hosting Eras’ clients for a memorable day of BINGO, lunch, and community. As this partnership continues to grow, Direct Supply’s generosity and compassion bring lasting impact and brighter days to those we serve.
