Through our Partnership with Waukesha Community Technical College and Carroll University, internship opportunities are available throughout the year. Eras is able to provide opportunities for creativity, growth, direct contact with clientele and use of human service knowledge and computer knowledge as appropriate.
Expectations of Interns:
Demeanor, dress, and attitude should reflect positively upon you, your school/organization, and Eras at all times.
Participate in all team meetings as able, being considerate of others and offering suggestions and solutions. Communicate changes in scheduling or absences to immediate supervisor.
Become familiar with the mission of Eras, and develop a compassionate understanding of the needs of all clients and volunteers.
Become familiar with the personnel of Eras, basic office procedures, communication expectations and methods, and telephone procedures.
Communicate and present all paperwork and deadlines for your internship to your immediate supervisor, allowing ample time for all deadlines to be met.
