Can We Count on Your Support?

As we approach the end of another year, we are filled with gratitude for your past gifts of time, treasure, and talent. Thanks to the generous support of volunteers, donors, congregations, and community stakeholders, Eras Senior Network was able to provide no-cost services to 1,033 older adults and adults with disabilities and educational material to a total of 2,237 clients in 2023. Additionally, our volunteer force was 779 individuals strong in Waukesha and Milwaukee counties.

The clients we serve and the volunteers we support continuously remind us of the importance of our mission to engage generations and support seniors. 2023 has been a year of unprecedented challenges. The ongoing pandemic, reduced membership among congregations, economic uncertainty, and ageism-related injustices have left many older community members isolated and unsure. However, amidst these challenges, we have also seen the incredible resilience of the human spirit and the boundless capacity for kindness and compassion.

As we reflect on our year, we want to especially highlight the work our dedicated team has done to meet client needs and provide volunteer support in both Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. But we couldn't have achieved this without the generous support of individuals like you.

Your belief in Eras Senior Network has lit the way for countless clients to find their own empowerment and hope. Your generosity has given family caregivers the chance to go to work knowing their loved one has the support of an Eras volunteer. However, our work is far from complete, and we need your support to continue providing no-cost client services and expanding our impact in 2024.

As we move into the giving season, help Eras fill our holiday mailbox! Our holiday mailbox isn't just for letters; it's a symbol of joy, hope, and support for older adults in our community who wish to age in place, comfortably and independently.

On any given day, we receive heartfelt letters and cards from our clients, expressing gratitude for the services provided by our dedicated staff and volunteers. From healthcare transportation to seasonal yard clean-ups, these no-charge services help fulfill the desire to remain in their homes for as long as possible.

This season, we aim to raise $40,000 to sustain our volunteer program, impacting over 1,000 older adults in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. Your donation helps fill our mailbox with stories of hope, showcasing the real impact of your generosity.

With every contribution, our mailbox ticker rises, symbolizing the collective effort and kindness of our community. Together, let's brighten this holiday season for those in need and make a lasting difference in the lives of our cherished clients and volunteers.
